Built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Egypt, the Great Pyramid of Khufu is the largest of the three pyramids and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Believed to have been constructed over a 20-year period, it was originally 146.6 meters (481 feet) tall, making it the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years.
