Our Day
We will pick you up from your hotel. Today you will have a great adventure in Al Fayoum oasis. Fayoum is 100 km (62 miles) from Cairo. Our tour today will start with the most famous attraction in Fayoum known as Wadi Al Ryan also known as the Water Falls of Fayoum. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression of 42 meters below sea level. It is place of natural beauty where you can see the only water falls in Egypt in the heart of the desert. Enjoy a sailboat ride (felucca) in Lake Qaroun, the third biggest natural lake in Egypt
Following this, we will drive to Wadi Hitan meaning the valley of whales. This site is a UNESCO World Heritage since 2005.This great site has hundreds of petrified and fossilized sea creatures dating back to millions of years. You will walk around and see whale Skelton, sea shells, shark teeth and rocky roots of mangroves. This is a fascinating place that has exceptional findings worldwide. After having lunch in one of the restaurants in Al Fayoum, you will return to your hotel in Cairo.
